Job Description

 

  • Handle day-to-day operations of the continental kitchen section

  • Prepare and cook continental dishes as per set standards

  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently maintained

  • Supervise commis chefs and support kitchen staff

  • Manage mise en place and smooth service operations

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of continental cuisine and cooking techniquesAbility to maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standardsGood communication and coordination skillsLeadership skills to supervise and train commis chefs

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven knowledge of continental cuisine
  • Good communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Handle mise en place and manage smooth kitchen operations during service
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Supervise, guide, and train commis chefs and kitchen assistants
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
