Job Description

Handle daily food preparation and cooking for continental dishes
• Ensure quality, taste, and presentation as per hotel standards
• Special focus on salads and cold kitchen preparation
• Supervise commis and kitchen helpers
• Maintain hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness

 

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of continental cuisineExpertise in salad and cold kitchen preparation• Food presentation and plating skillsKnowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standardsAbility to supervise and train commis staff

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a CDP or in Continental cuisine in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Proficient in preparing continental dishes and salads

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of continental cuisine items according to hotel standards.
  • Prepare and present salads, cold appetizers, and other related items accurately.
  • Follow hygiene and safety standards in food preparation and storage.
  • Monitor ingredients and stock levels; report shortages or wastage
