Job Description

A Commi I (Cold Kitchen) assists the senior chefs in preparing cold dishes such as salads, appetizers, dressings, cold platters, and garnishes. The role focuses on maintaining high food quality, proper food presentation, and supporting smooth kitchen operations in a professional hotel environment.

Skills Required

Knowledge of cold kitchen food preparationBasic knife skills and food cutting techniques.Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble cold kitchen items such as salads, sandwiches, dressings, and cold appetizers.
  • Assist the Chef de Partie in daily food preparation and kitchen operation
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to hotel standards and recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards.
