An Indian Cook is responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes, maintaining food quality, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently. The role involves cooking a variety of Indian meals, following recipes, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations.

Skills Required

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as an Indian Cook in a restaurant or hotel.
  • Good knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes such as curries, gravies, rice dishes, breads, and appetizers.
  • Ensure food is prepared according to the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
  • Monitor food stock and inform the supervisor about shortages.
