Job Description

The Indian & Tandoor Cook is responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes with a strong specialization in tandoor cooking. The role requires expertise in traditional Indian recipes, techniques, marination methods, and tandoor operations. The cook must ensure consistent taste, quality, hygiene, and timely preparation of food items.

Skills Required

Strong expertise in Indian cuisine, including curries, gravies, biryanis, and regional dishes.Ability to manage mise-en-place for the Indian and tandoor sections.Knowledge of safe handling of raw meat, poultry, and seafood.Strong time management and ability to work under pressure.

Requirements

  • Ability to prepare various breads, tikkas, kebabs, curries, and gravies.
  • Proven experience as an Indian/Tandoor Cook in a hotel or restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper marination, seasoning, and cooking techniques for tandoor and Indian cuisine.
  • Manage daily mise-en-place for Indian and tandoor sections.
