Job Description

The Kitchen Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area to ensure a safe and sanitary food preparation environment.

Skills Required

Physical stamina to work long hours and perform manual tasksTime management and ability to complete cleaning duties efficientlyAbility to follow instructions from kitchen supervisorsUnderstanding of food safety and sanitation practices

Requirements

Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience as kitchen cleaner / steward preferred
Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation
Willing to work in shifts and extended hours if required

Responsibilities

Wash utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness of sinks, storage areas, and dishwashing zones
Support kitchen staff by keeping the work area clean and organized
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
