Job Description

The Kitchen Helper supports the kitchen team in daily food preparation and cleanliness to ensure smooth kitchen operations and maintain hygiene standards.

Skills Required

Basic knowledge of food preparation techniquesUnderstanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standardsAbility to use kitchen tools and equipment safelyPhysical stamina to stand for long hours and perform manual tasks

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in kitchen / restaurant preferred
  • Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
  • Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Wash vegetables, meat, and kitchen tools as per hygiene standards
  • Support in plating and food service when required
  • Dispose of kitchen waste properly
