Job Description

A Sous Chef plays a key leadership role in the kitchen, acting as the second-in-command after the Head Chef/Executive Chef. This position ensures smooth daily operations, supervises kitchen staff, maintains food quality, and helps develop menu items while ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards.

Skills Required

Strong culinary skills and deep knowledge of food production.Creativity in developing and presenting dishes.Excellent understanding of hygiene, HACCP, and safety rulesStrong organizational and time-management skills.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management (preferred).
  • Experience in multi-cuisine or fine dining setups is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing the full kitchen operations.
  • Check taste, texture, and consistency of all food items before they are served.
