Job Description

The Sous Chef assists the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. They supervise the kitchen team, maintain hygiene standards, and help design menus aligned with the restaurant’s standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
  • 4–6 years of experience in professional kitchens, with at least 2 years as a Sous Chef or CDP.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during shifts.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies.
