Job Description

The South Indian Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes according to traditional recipes and restaurant standards. The role includes ensuring food quality, maintaining kitchen hygiene, managing ingredients, and delivering consistent taste and presentation while supporting smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a South Indian Cook
  • Good understanding of spices and ingredients used in South Indian cooking
  • Physically fit and able to work long hours

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes (such as dosa, idli, vada, sambar, chutneys, biryani, etc.)
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards
