Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Tandoor Commi to assist in the preparation and cooking of tandoor items. The candidate will work under the guidance of the Tandoor Chef and ensure consistent food quality, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency.

Skills Required

Basic knowledge of tandoor cooking techniquesUnderstanding of Indian spices and marinadesAbility to work under pressure in a hot kitchen environmentTeamwork and communication skillsTime management and multitasking abilities

Requirements

Previous experience as a Tandoor Commi or similar role
Experience in Indian restaurant preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare mise en place as instructed by the Tandoor Chef
Ensure food is cooked and presented according to restaurant standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor section
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
